Position Description:
Operations Excellence SpecialistKV Pharmaceutical seeks an Operations Excellence Specialist. The successful candidate will develop and execute operational improvement projects within the product supply chain, maintain daily interaction with operating groups to drive improvement implementation, track ongoing success against completed tasks, actively lead teams, and provide individual contribution to problem solving efforts on selected projects to improve quality, reduce cost and improve processing cycle times. You will collaborate with Six Sigma Champions to implement and integrate identified improvements to meet timelines and targeted results. If you have experience in developing and institutionalizing appropriate metrics including dashboards, scorecards and productivity reporting, and evaluate and improve key business and quality practices to improve key performance indicators for Pharmaceutical Division apply today.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years previous pharmaceutical experience in solid dose or liquids manufacturer. You must be Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certified; ASQ Cciii lied Quality Engineer a plus. We are seeking an individual who has demonstrated and applied knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies; Design for Six Sigma a plus. If you have the ability to effectively train, coach and mentor team members and impact groups, can function autonomously, achieve stated goals, and possess an understanding of financial and other business measures to apply in the improvement process apply today. You must have demonstrated leadership skills in team formulation, problem resolution and project execution follow-up, possess strong quantitative and analytical skills, with PC proficiency in Minitab, Visio and Microsoft Office. The incumbent will have a previous self-directed work history, ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment, and confidence to influence and gain commitment at all organizational levels. We are seeking an individual with experience with planning and executing change, outstanding project management, team leadership ability, and a high level of energy and enthusiasm to energize others.
