The candidate must have the ability to rapidly move new technology, from an often-ill defined concept through implementation to formal demonstration, by leading and focusing multidisciplinary teams of engineers and scientists.  The ideal applicant should have experience in robotics or electro-mechanical systems.   Requirements:  Experience with physical modeling such as rigid buoy motion, fluid dynamic, and electro-magnetic. Experience with the design, setup, oversight, and analysis of experimentation Applied mathematics experience such as linear algebra through SVD, systems of ODE, linear PDEs, probability and statistics, and numerical simulations Must have the ability to work cooperatively in a fluid environment and to interact effectively with Government Program Managers.
