Our innovative organization, one of Research Triangle Park's 50 fastest-growing privately held companies, has the following opportunity at our RTP, NC facility:PLASMA CONTRACT SUPPLIER ACCOUNT MANAGERThe position is responsible for all aspects of oversight of assigned contract center operations. The incumbent will monitor operations to insure compliance with all required regulatory agencies and Talecris specifications. Monitoring will occur primarily through interfacing with contract regional manager level management, by operational site audits of collection facilities/testing laboratories and by review of reports and operational plans. He/she will work with contract regional managers/trainers on centers with special needs including staff training and development or compliance action plans. The incumbent is responsible for meeting volume goals, financial targets, and delivery schedules and will work with their customers, internal and external, to meet all Talecris goals allowing smooth, successful overall operations.Contributes to 3rd party center development by implementing TPR Best Practices and monitoring center performance. Monitors quality of 3rd party centers and coordinates follow up with QO. Provide reliable forecasts of supplier deliveries to S&OP process. Develop and implement contract plasma programs, procedures and training as needed. Conduct operational audits of center operations to ensure compliance with all state, federal, international regulatory agencies as well as Talecris specifications. Interface with appropriate management (generally regional management levels) to assist in corrective action plans for deficient operations, staff training and development or other needs as defined. Work the Talecris supply pipeline functions to ensure smooth operations and understanding between contract operations, testing laboratories, and fractionation facilities thereby creating positive partnerships. Assist in development of contract supplier volume, cost and donor panel contracts and budgets and Contract Strategic Planning in conjunction with the Director of Contract Operations. Ensure that plasma delivery schedules from suppliers are maintained to fulfill fractionation plant needs. Develop and implement strategies to contain/reduce costs of plasma. Actively participates in representing Bayer in a positive manner in industry organizations i.e. ABRA.This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with knowledge of business, biology, chemistry, nursing, English and/or math. Also a minimum of five years as a center manager or equivalent position and ten years overall experience in the biological industry. Also requires a minimum of five years as a plasma center manager or equivalent position and seven to nine years overall experience in the biological, pharmaceutical or blood plasma industry.
