PROCESS SYSTEMS ENGINEER/CONTROLS ENGINEER

Our pharmaceutical technology client is a growing research and development company focused in pharmaceutical delivery and separation processes.  Their focus is on their employees, presenting continual challenges and career growth combined with a commitment of financial resources to insure they remain at the forefront of the industry. Process Systems Engineer / Controls Engineer     Candidate will participate in multidisciplinary teams that design and implement novel pharmaceutical process systems. Manage and execute all phases of automation projects:  conceptualize, develop, design, procure, install, assemble, program, test and validate. Strong ability to provide programming of PLC’s, Operator Interfaces, Network Communications, and PC interfaces. Utilize electrical, control mechanical, and process trouble-shooting skills to provide support for production operations. Utilize analytical skills, technical background, and innovation to solve a wide variety of automation and production challenges. Oversee and verify all operating aspects of new equipment at installation. Requirements:  M.S. or Ph.D. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with emphasis in controls systems. Knowledge in dynamic modeling, system identification, and controller design is essential. Experience with MPC, latent variable modeling, Kalman filters, optimization and automation hardware/software desirable.
