PROCESS TRANSFER CHEMISTS

Cambridge Major Laboratories, Inc., a fast-growing API manufacturer in Germantown WI, is seeking process transfer chemists to facilitate project transfers/scale up from kilo labs into pilot plants.  Seeking three candidates, one on managerial level and two on non-managerial level. All positions are hands on and would require responsibility for optimization of a process on kilo labs scale a safe/reliable transfer to reactors. The manager in addition to his daily activities will responsible for establishing a fully integrated process transfer team. The team will be assisted by R&D chemist and by pilot plant operators.  Candidates must have PhD. in synthetic organic chemistry and at least 3 years of experience in Process R&D both on Kilo lab and plant scale.  Practical knowledge of reactor scale issues such heat and mass transfer, agitation, filtration, drying, etc. is a must.  Must be able to perform analytical tests, be computer literate with good written and verbal skills.  Additional knowledge of reaction calorimetry and cGMP is a plus.  Must be able to work flexible hours.  Cambridge Major offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
