PRODUCT MANAGER - TRANSPLANT

The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision (market positioning and sales strategies), and working closely with the product development, business development, clinical development and project management teams to ensure the implementation of the company’s Transplant Care  (TC) strategy on a product level.

The Product Manager is expected to:


1. Participate as member of Commerical Management Team in the development and definition of LCP’s TC strategy
2. Assume a lead marketing position with respect to LCP-Tacro.
3. Create Product Marketing plans for relevant TC products, including developing the product position, developing key messages, setting pricing strategy and defining the detailed plans for promotional / advertising and sales activities
4. Work with internal Business Development Team and external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities in TC
5. Gather customer requirements and identify unmet customer needs and work with the Product Development Team to translate relevant requirements and unmet customers needs into potential product / commercial opportunities as internal targets for TC
6. Work with the Clinical Development Team to help create clinical programs (Phase II and Phase III) which supports the product development strategy
7. Work with the Regulatory Team to secure competitive labelling for the TC products
8. Be an expert with respect to the competition within the TC therapy areas
9. Assist in establishing a US Specialty Sales Force in TC
10. Work with external marketing agencies to create relevant marketing, promotional and sales plans for TC products, as well as execution of said plans


Requirements
* Minimum of 7 years experience as a Product Manager within the Transplant Care or relevant therapeutic areas

* Demonstrated success defining and launching relevant products in the TC therapeutic area

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Excellent marketing and and sales skills

* Relevant background:  Pharmacist, Physician or Life Sciences in addition to MBA

* Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

* Significant travel 30% of the time (USA)

* Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past

* Strong commercial understanding and have cultivated a large network of customers in the TC therapeutic area
