Part-Time Service Technician – Baltimore, MD

As a Part-Time Service Technician, your schedule will be approximately 15 - 20 hours/3 days a week. Your primary function is to perform OnSite Service including inspection, repair and preventive maintenance of pipettes at our client's place of business as assigned by the local Field Service Representative.

 

This will entail travel to customer locations throughout Baltimore and surrounding areas. You will utilize an electronic computer support system for entering service information and providing on-site documentation. You will develop and maintain a positive, professional relationship with key contacts. You must be organized and able to maintain established administrative and reporting systems.

Qualified candidates should be organized, dependable, and have some prior sales or customer service experience. Excellent communication skills both oral and written with some mechanical aptitude are required. Should have experience with word processing, database and order processing software. Must have valid Maryland driver’s license and reliable transportation. Great opportunity for a Life Science undergrad looking for PT work. No Benefits. EOE

In addition to an hourly wage the position pays commission + mileage.
