Job Responsibilities

 

We are looking for individuals with process operating experience who are interested in learning new skills and enjoy challenge. 

 

Operating personnel are responsible for preparing the petroleum process units for operation, monitoring operating parameters, troubleshooting unit problems and performing routine maintenance.  The process units are operated in three (3) shifts.  Operators are schedule on rotating shift basis with shift differential being paid for evening and midnight shifts.

 

Other responsibilities include:

 Record all information pertinent to unit operations in the unit logbook.Perform minor unit repairs.Prepare samples for analyses.Perform limited analytical testing associated with pilot plant operations (e.g., gravities, sulfur analyses and GC distillations)

 

Job Qualifications

 

High school graduate or equivalent with a minimum of two years' college in a science-related field.  Candidates must have mechanical skills and be able to work on a rotating shift schedule.

Our business focus is to provide independent petroleum testing to clients in the petroleum, petrochemical and chemical-based industries.  The business segments include Automotive Testing Services, Analytical Testing and Pilot Plant Services.

 

The Pilot Plant operation performs petroleum and petrochemical testing using thirty continuous process units that are computer monitored and highly instrumented.
