This position provides a unique opportunity to join the Infectious Disease, Virology Research group for a Ph.D or M.D./Ph.D. with an exceptionally strong background in molecular virology. The successful candidate will direct drug discovery efforts and lead a team of scientists in the area of respiratory viruses. The candidate should have excellent understanding and experience in Respiratory Syncytial Virus or other negative stranded RNA viruses, and have demonstrated a record of achievement including publications and excellent communication skills. Assay development and drug discovery experience are preferred but not absolutely necessary.QualificationsThe position requires a Ph.D, or PH.D/MD in Biology field with at least 2 5 years postdoctoral laboratory experience in industry or academic setting. Strong skills in molecular biology, virology and genetics, are desired. Good communication skills and experience or clear potential for leadership are essential.
