Pharmaceutical Regional Sales Director

Our client is one of the world's largest pharmaceutical manufacturers and a leader in medicines to treat chronic disorders. They have asked us to locate a new Regional Sales Director to direct the efforts of 8-10 District Sales Managers and 100+ experienced field sales representatives who sell the leading brands of prescription medicines to Specialists and Primary Care Physicians in the Southwestern region including the states of Texas, Colorado, Arizona and parts of California. The candidate we seek will have a 4 year degree and a strong background in pharmaceutical sales including at least 2 or more years sales management experience at the Regional level (managing district sales managers) in the pharmaceutical industry, plus at least 1yr in-house marketing experience (brand management, product management, etc.) with a documented track record of success as evidenced by stack rankings, awards and commendations. Candidates without Regional (2nd level) pharmaceutical sales management experience and in-house marketing experience cannot be considered for this position. The successful candidate can expect to earn $225-250K or more based on a starting salary up to $200K (depending upon experience) plus bonus which adds $50K per year at goal, but could be higher based on personal performance. In addition, you will receive a company car, an excellent benefit package, and high visibility for advancement to senior levels of sales management. Paid relocation is available for candidates wishing to relocate to this area.This position requires specific experience.
