Pharmaceutical Sales Representative - Eau Claire, WI Sales Representatives are responsible for professionally promoting BI products to healthcare professionals with the goal of achieving sales growth in their respective territories. Sales Representatives are responsible to develop and execute territory business plans, coordinate efforts with territory partners in a team environment, accurately complete routine reports and be compliant with regulatory and company guidelines. Boehringer Ingelheim – Discover us at us.boehringer-ingelheim.com.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree preferred 2+ years successful business-to-business sales experience preferred Pharmaceutical sales or previous professional healthcare experience is desired Aptitude for learning technical and scientific product related information Demonstrated influencing and selling skills are essential Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and database environments Residence must be within designated sales territory Valid Drivers license and good driving record Some overnight business travel DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and manage the business relationships with targeted physicians and customers focusing on the promotion of BI pharmaceutical products Call on physicians and health related organizations within an assigned territory Professionally create, maintain and increase sales within the designated territory by favorably influencing the prescribing habits of the targeted audience Demonstrate thorough knowledge of BI pharmaceutical products and competitor products to further educate physicians and healthcare providers. Arrange and provide continuing education and service to targeted physicians. Work closely with consultants and team members to arrange value added speaker programs and educational workshops Develop and deliver informative sales presentations based on individual customer needs to maximize market share of the designated product portfolio Maintain up-to-date database to document sales call information, trends, future call objectives, sampling data and overall territory performance Corporate Site
