Pharmaceutical Sales Representative (Entry Level)

Our client is a well-known manufacturer of specialty pharmaceuticals and a leader in Women's Health segment of the industry. They are expanding their sales force due to the success of several new drugs and have asked us to locate a college graduate to train to sell their leading brands of prescription medicines to Family Practice Physicians. This is a training and development position in which the new sales trainee will initially be trained for 6-12 months in the Washington, DC area. After completing training, relocation for a permanent territory assignment, usually within the Maryland to Virginia region, will be required. The candidate we seek must have a recent 4 year degree (up to one year out of college) and be interested in a career in Pharmaceutical sales. Prior sales experience is not required as our client has an excellent training program; however, 6-12 months of Business-to-Business or other direct, competitive sales experience would be helpful. Ability to relocate after 6 months of employment is absolutely required.The successful candidate can expect to earn $58-62K the first year based on a starting salary of $40-44K plus bonus which will add about $18K per year. Salary and bonus potential the second year will be even higher after reassignment to a permanent sales territory.
