Sample of Duties and Responsibilities

Taking and verifying new orders, processing drug orders, checking / filling prescriptions, consulting medical professionals on prescriptions / compounding, supervising pharmacy technician staff

Providing education regarding appropriate drug therapy

Maintaining pharmacy operations

Participating as a team member with pharmacists and technicians

Compound and prepare medications

Some of the qualifications include:

Current NV Pharmacy License with no restrictions

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD

Strong communication skills

Ability to multitask, manages time properly, and delegates work flow

Previous Pharmacy experience, not necessary but desirable for new hires
