Pharmacy Technician

CPS is currently searching for a Pharmacy Technician in our long term care facility pharmacy in North Wales, PA. The hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm and a half day every other Saturday.

Job Description: Accurately enter prescription refill information from faxes into the computer system to assure the correct patient, medication and directions; Accurately filling blister cards with ordered medications;Labeling blister cards with pharmacy label; Presenting completed cards to pharmacist for medication and labeling review; Delivering medications throughtout the facility; Placing new inventory on shelves using the stock rotation technique; Reviewing medication on shelves to ensure acceptable expiration dates; and other duties when required.

* Must have good data entry skills and be proficient at reading doctors hand-written prescriptions*
