Pharmacy Technician - Napa

In return, we reward them with one of the best total compensation packages in our industry.  We are currently looking for talented Pharmacy Technicians in the Napa area!  Duties and Responsibilities Primary  Pull medications from the shelf for the pharmacist Fill and label prescriptions Reconstitute prescriptions Bill manual insurance programs and dual co-pays Restock Baker and ScriptPro cells Perform data processing functions (including Drop-off) Handle insurance billing problems Maintain files  Secondary  Order products Put away products Participate in cycle counting Assist in inventory control Return to stock RTS’d products Assist in triage activities Handle TARS, PARS and other PA’s Communicate with doctors’ offices for refill authorizations Assist in record keeping functions Assist in training of ancillary personnel Answer phones Backup for any ancillary function a thorough knowledge of local 3rd party plans    Qualification and Requirements  Must be licensed as a Pharmacy Technician with California State Board of Pharmacy Must complete Longs Technician Training Program Retail pharmacy experience preferred General knowledge of pharmacy terms Must pass company’s background check procedures Basic computer skills Excellent telephone etiquette skills Excellent customer service skills   Benefits  Competitive wages Medical/dental/vision care Paid sick days/holidays/vacation Employee purchase privileges 401 (k) plan   Contact  Name: Daniel Tobin  Phone: (707) 253-7918 Fax: (707) 253-8719 Store Information Address: 1558 Trancas Street, Napa, CA 94558 Phone: (707) 253-7906   Longs Drug Stores is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
