Talecris Plasma Resources specializes in the collection of human plasma used in therapies that help people everywhere maintain and enhance their quality of life. Continued growth at our Dayton, OH Plasma Donor Center has created the following immediate openings:

PHLEBOTOMISTS



You will be responsible for performing plasma collection of donors. Duties include: preparing all equipment and supplies for venipuncture and plasmapheresis procedures; monitoring donors and equipment operations to ensure health of donors and quality of product; maintaining accurate documentation of records; and ensuring donor confidentiality and related functions. Position requires a High School Diploma (or GED), excellent customer service skills and familiarity with state/federal regulations, FDA approved operating procedures, OSHA, CLIA, and cGMPs. Phlebotomy certification preferred. Bilingual and previous medical experience desired.



DONOR PROCESSORS

You will build rapport with donors to ensure overall customer satisfaction, while promoting long-term donations. Duties include: determining initial donor suitability through validation of data to include obtaining/documenting pre-donation medical screening/medical history of donors; performing general administration functions such as maintaining donor files, greeting donors, answering phones; assisting management as needed; maintaining supplies and related functions. Position requires a High School Diploma (or GED). Prefer Medical Assistant or Nurse's Assistant Certificate and previous experience in a medical, regulated of cGMP environment. Must be detail-oriented and have excellent customer service/people skills.

PLASMA PROCESSORS

Duties include collect and processing donor samples for diagnostic testing; processing units of donor samples; freezing units for final packing and shipment; completing all necessary record documentation; and maintaining communication with all service areas to ensure documentation and quality. Position requires a High School Diploma (or GED). Previous work experience in a plasma donor center or related medical environment is preferred.
