We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Scientist for a Development and Pilot Manufacturing position in our Molecular and Cellular Biology Division. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the rapid commercialization of new state-of-the-art technologies for Life Science applications. The candidate will assist in the set-up of new part numbers, bill of materials, and procedures for consumable reagents. The candidate will also conduct experiments to optimize the performance and processes of new consumable materials for developing technologies. The successful candidate will also scale up and manufacture these consumable materials and assist with the transfer of these processes into our manufacturing environment. As a key member of highly interdisciplinary project teams, this scientist will contribute the technical capabilities and organizational skills to ensure the rapid development and launch of new products.

BS/MS in biochemistry or molecular biology or a related scientific discipline. 2-5 years of industrial experience in a product development or manufacturing environment. Must be detail-oriented and have hands on experience with QC methodology, and experience with basic instrumentation including PCR, UV/Vis and Fluorescence spectroscopy. Experience with robotics is highly desirable.
