Neutrogena Corporation develops, manufactures and markets premium skin and hair care products sold worldwide and recommended by medical professionals. The product line includes bar and liquid cleansers, shampoo, hand cream, body lotion, facial moisturizers, sun protection and cosmetics, as well as other hair and skin care products. OrthoNeutrogena division of Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical, Inc. markets skin and hair care products recommended, used and prescribed by dermatologists. The Pre-Weigh Operator will report to the Team Leader for Compounding for Neutrogena. The Pre-Weigh Operator will be primarily responsible for the operation, control, monitoring and troubleshooting of pre-weigh equipment. He/She will be responsible for the pre-weighing of raw materials for the Compounding department, ensure chemicals are free of contaminants, prepare chemicals in response to requests from the production line. He/She will move materials within or to adjacent warehouse areas to avoid delays due to material shortages during production. He/She will be responsible for wrapping and accurately tagging raw materials pallets with the placard and reservation area. The Pre-Weigh Operator must also comply with Neutrogena's policies, procedures, quality standards and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) as well as safety and environmental regulations. The Pre-Weigh Operator will be responsible for documenting the pre-weigh process by accurately complete documentation of pre-weigh activity, accurately calculate labor efficiency, and maintain downtime log sheets, batch records and reconciliation forms. He/She will issue specified materials, restocks, work order closures, and Product Transfer Forms. He/She will perform the restocking process and work order closures in a timely manner. The Pre-Weigh Operator will also report decisions, problems, and questions to Group Leader and/or Team Leader in a timely manner. General education degree (GED) is required. High school diploma is preferred. Current valid "Class C" drivers license and current forklift driver experience is required. 1 year of warehouse experience is required. 2 years of warehouse experience preferred. Proficiency with computers is required. SAP experience is preferred. Experience in a regulatory environment is preferred. Experience with SAP and/or Pre-Weigh technology and procedures is preferred. While performing the duties of this job, this candidate will be required to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time, use hands and fingers, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, talk or hear. This candidate will frequently be required to reach with hands and arms, push and pull objects, and to move within and between the buildings. The candidate will occasionally be required to crouch or crawl and must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This candidate must be able to view objects closely and use a computer terminal to access, input, and retrieve data. The ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions is required. The ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small group situations is required. This position is 2 nd shift and requires that you work from 2:00PM to 10:00PM and may require mandatory overtime and weekend work.
