Principal Electrical Engineer

Outstanding Corporate Electrical Engineering Opportunity!Global pharmaceutical company seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer to offer corporate engineering support of electrical instrumentation aspects of capital projects in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.  This progressive company offers excellent career growth opportunities across its many divisions, both domestic and international.  The Principal Electrical Engineer will provide engineering expertise for design, installation, startup and management of major electrical power and power distribution systems.   Additional duties will be:  - Performing audits of National Electric Code compliance and identifying energy savings opportunities.- Performing energy audits, assessing equipment and operations for efficiency.- Providing engineering expertise for installation and startup of primary electrical / control systems. - Interfacing with other engineering disciplines, external engineering firms,  contractors, project managers, and plant personnel effectively- Assisting with the development of projects scopes, cost estimates, schedules, and equipment specifications.- Design of electrical, instrumentation and control systems.Requirements:  BS in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 7 years experience in electrical and process controls design to include:  Electrical power distribution design in a manufacturing plant setting, medium voltage and 480V switchgear, motor control centers, transformers, variable frequency drives, selective coordination of overcurrent protective devices, short circuit analysis, arc-flash analysis, electrical power reliability, energy savings, proficiency using SKM Power Tools software, PLC and DCS programming, process controls, and instrumentation.
