Process Engineer / Project Leader

Novasep, Inc. is a technology-driven company serving the life sciences industry with its leading purification systems. We are located near Philadelphia and have our headquarters in Europe (see our website novasep.com). We are recruiting a Process Engineer / Project Leader for our Engineering Division.

 

 

Duties:

- Design purification systems such as preparative chromatography systems and membrane filtration systems (PID, parts list, functional specifications) for pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and food ingredients applications, ensuring the compliance with regulatory guidelines and customers’ specifications

- Prepare requests for quotation and manage vendors

- Prepare qualification protocols and perform Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests (IQ-OQ-PQ)

- Prepare the final documentation package including user manuals

- Interact with the project team and report to the Lead Process Engineer

- Manage communication with customers

- Meet project timelines and budgets

 

Requirements:

- BS or Master in Chemical Engineering

- Experience with the pharmaceutical industry (cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11 ...)

- Good communication skills, ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment

- Willing to travel in North America

- Eligible to work in the USA

- Knowledge of French language is a plus but not required

Salary and Benefits:

$50,000 to $65,000 (based on experience) + yearly bonus.
