Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products Company a member of Johnson & Johnson Family of companies is currently recruiting for a Process Improvement Leader, located in Skillman, NJ. The Process Improvement Leader will be responsible for leading improvement efforts within the NA Sourcing organization (OneTeam). They will train, mentor, coach and lead Six Sigma and Lean Green Belts as they work on projects to improve process capability and reduce waste, and drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives within the Process and Technology Group. They will also gather and report on key metrics for each functional group within the OneTeam. The Process Improvement Leader will create and update dashboards to monitor performance of key metrics, lead large, complex, and highly visible Lean or Six Sigma projects to deliver significant operational improvement and financial benefits within Sourcing (at both the home office or manufacturing facilities). Provide analysis and feedback to senior management on project activities, improvements, and savings; Act as a change agent to instill Lean and Six Sigma culture throughout the organization, as well a Lean and Six-sigma technical expert, facilitating high impact kaizen events, as requested by the Sourcing organization. Partner with business partners to assist in project identification and selection, assuring linkage between projects and business and customer priorities. Train and mentor Process Owners, Champions, and project teams to transfer best practices and process improvement tools. Review, critique, and certify Green Belt candidates for proper methodology and tool usage. The Process Improvement Leader will participate on the Global Lean Sourcing Council as the North America Representative. Challenge conventional wisdom by demonstrating successful application of new methodologies to improve product and process quality. This position may provide the individual the opportunity to progress into a strategic Black Belt or Master Black Belt position or a Procurement line position. The qualified candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or other related technical field. A minimum of 3 years of business or operation experience is required. Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma training, tools, applications, methodologies is required. Project Management skills leading large-scale teams and Lean or Six Sigma projects is required. Experience coaching and delivering training at all levels of an organization is highly preferred. Must be proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Minitab software is preferred. Must have strong leadership skills and demonstrated track record of achievement with proven ability to facilitate cross-functional teams and manage multiple complex projects. Must have the ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external customers, and influence peers and higher level managers without authority. This person must possess exemplary standards of integrity, personal work ethic, and continuous involvement in self-education and development, excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills and strong analytical/technical aptitude.
