Process Organic Chemist

Process Organic Chemist Kelly Scientific Resources has an immediate opening for a Process Organic Chemist in Athens, GA. Candidates will be responsible for process development research and product transfers in adherence to company SOPs, cGMP, FDA, and DEA requirementsESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Plans, performs and reports laboratory work in support of developing new processes, improving existing processes or generating information to support process validation.- Supports technology transfer projects- Familiar with analytical methods and instrumentation.- Interprets investigation results and implements change.- Develops new manufacturing processes- Evaluates new raw material sources to ensure adequate performance in production.- Recommends approval or disapproval of raw materials.- Conducts troubleshooting of plant processes to resolve production or quality problems.- Serves as consultant and technical resource to production/QC department in areas of expertise.- Reviews proposed changes to production operating procedures.- Investigates process-related deviations and failures.QUALIFICATIONS- Must have atleast a Bachelor degree in Chemistry or related field with at least 5+ years of pharmaceutical experience.
