Product Development Manager

If you too have a passion for science and the business of biotech, please consider this opportunity:Essential Functions:This product development manager role will provide strategic leadership and execution for certain product segments in the cell culture research business.Key responsibilities include:• Develop and implement integrated product life cycle strategies including list price setting, multi-generation product planning, and value proposition development.• Champion new markets and directions: work across functions to develop business opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction, and use voice of customer research to drive product lifecycle planning;• Create financial models to analyze data to develop strategic initiatives and tactics to support plans;• Together with market development managers, develop strategies to drive customer awareness, adoption, and loyalty for assigned products; • Develop/manage third party collaboration/agreements as needed;• Work closely with R&D, operations, commercial teams and third party partners to execute on programs and projects.Desired:· Self-starter  with  the  ability  to  create  and  execute  plans  based  on  a  vision;· Clear  thinker  with  the  ability  to  determine  the  critical  few  requirements  to  ensure  product  success  and  to plan for near-term and long-term portfolio performance;· Inclusiveness  with  customers  and  internal  business  stakeholders;· Ability to build and analyze models to forecast and track results· Creativity  to  develop new  product  concepts  and  take  entrepreneurial risks;· Outcome orientation and a strong desire to plan to measure the success of initiatives.· Technical acumen in cell culture or cell therapy in the area of epithelial biology· Experience in industries such as personal care or pharma. · Past experience working in or knowledge of regulations requiring replacing animals in testing.Qualifications/Requirement· Education:  MBA · Minimum 5 years marketing experience· Experience in finance or financial modeling· Experience managing a global product line with close interaction with research and development and operations· Willingness to  travel  up  to  30% We are proud to be an Affirmative Action / Equal Opportunity Employer committed to hiring a diverse and inclusive workforce.This position is eligible for relocation assistance benefits.We are proud to be an Affirmative Action / Equal Opportunity Employer committed to hiring a diverse and inclusive workforce.
