Product Director-Bariatrics - (Job Number: 0805955) DescriptionEthicon Endo-Surgery, Inc., a member of Johnson and Johnson's Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for a Product Director-Bariatrics, located in Cincinnati, Ohio to support our Bariatric Stapling Business. Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc. develops and markets advanced medical devices for minimally invasive and open surgical procedures. The company focuses on procedure-enabling devices for the interventional diagnosis and treatment of conditions in general and bariatric surgery, gastrointestinal health, gynecology and surgical oncology. In Bariatrics EES is positioned as the only company that offers a full portfolio of products including: Echelon staplers, The Realize Personalized Banding Solution ENDOPATH XCEL Access System; and the HARMONIC ultrasonic cutting and coagulating surgical devices. The primary focus for the Product Director-Bariatrics is to develop and execute bariatric procedure expansion efforts for the Bariatric Edge and Realize Brands.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: managing and developing materials/programs to support bypass and band procedure expansion, monitor bariatric market trends through market research, providing innovative and creative solutions that support the overall bariatric strategy and product brands working alongside multiple internal business partners. . A minimum of a BA/BS in Marketing or a business related field is required. A minimum of 3 years of marketing or marketing related experience (such as sales, business development, franchise development or market research) is also required. Marketing experience in medical device or pharmaceuticals is highly desirable. Successful candidates must have demonstrated experience building strong partnerships between cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, clinical, regulatory, operations, and/or other key functional stakeholders to deliver business objectives. The ability to develop strong customer relationships is required. An understanding of the creative process and how to build and execute against a creative brief is desirable. Familiarity with product Branding is preferred. Familiarity with Content Web Site Design and Construction Processes is desired. Experience developing business plans is required. Strong oral and written communication skills are required along with strong presentation development and delivery experience. Good Organizational Skills are also required. Must have the ability to influence without authority.
