Global product management responsibility for Laboratory Separation Division including contributions to key tasks supporting Division initiatives. Tasks include but not limited to addressing backorders, forecasting and analyzing financial performance of the consumables. Develop, launch and promote new products to global market. Provide training and support to tech support and selling divisions as needed. Manage manufacturing and inventory relationships. Approximately 30% travel required. Minimum of a bachelor of science degree. Other training such as MS or PhD or MBA a plus. Must have demonstrated and be comfortable with customer interactions especially as relates to customer trouble shooting and understanding customer needs. Must be familiar with electrophoresis for size separations of biological molecules. Previous product management experience highly desirable bit may not be required for the right candidate. Experience working in a lab setting; molecular biology or protein chemistry lab desired. Good verbal communication skills, presentation skills, and ability to manage/resolve conflict. Good written communication skills for creation of marketing materials. Good analytical skills for financial analysis and problem solving. Competency with Microsoft office applications; word, excel and PowerPoint.
