Product Process EngineerPosition Summary: The Product Process Engineer will work in the Research and Development group developing components and systems for a very high tech medical device company. Qualifications: Candidate must be proficient with solid modeling CAD software such as Pro-E. Analysis skills as finite element analysis of systems for stress/strain, thermal and flow characteristics are desired. Design and manufacturing skills with a wide variety of materials (metals, plastics, elastomers, adhesives, composites, etc.) are desired. Experience with a wide variety of mechanical manufacturing and fabrication processes is desired. Skill in mechanical, thermal, and fluid mechanics test methods and instrumentation is desired. Strong writing skills are required. Duties & Responsibilities Include: Mechanical design, analysis Testing of new and modified devices Development of manufacturing processes Provide engineering support for operations through t Quality and Manufacturing groups Experience, Knowledge & Skills Required: BSME or MSME 1+ years or more experience designing mechanical devices is required. Experience designing and testing high reliability, precision mechanical devices is desired. Experience in the medical device industry is a plus.
