Production Scientist - Amplification
As a Production Scientist on our Amplification team you will be charged with creating large-scale versions of our Genetic Identity and Forensic related products for distribution to our customers. Individuals in this position are responsible for leading custom orders through the production process, implementing new product offerings and manufacturing improvements, as well as creating a wide variety of components to meet production specifications.
Preferred qualifications:
· Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline with 4 plus years of industrial experience in PCR, RT-PCR, and qPCR techniques.
· Well defined lab techniques including timing, speed and accuracy.
· Attention to detail, written/verbal communication skills, organizational skills and ability to work independently and on multidisciplinary teams.
· Familiarity with molecular biology assay methods, contaminant testing, and product applications testing.
· Prior experience writing and maintaining standard operating procedures.
· Drive to be successful and thrive in our organization.
Successful candidates will have a solid understanding of the manufacturing process as well as working knowledge of a highly regulated environment such as IS013485 and cGMP.
