Production Supervisor

EndoGastric Solutions, Inc. is a fast-growth medical technology company headquartered in Redmond, Washington.  The company is revolutionizing the fields of upper gastroenterology diseases including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other GI disorders.

 

We currently have an opportunity for a Production Supervisor who will provide leadership for production assemblers and production floor activities to meet production assembly plans and goals and be responsible for the following activities:

 

·         Plan, direct, lead and supervise the activities of the assembly groups to achieve quality, productivity and throughput goals

·         Provide excellent communication for groups and receive input and feedback from production associates in order to continually implement improvements

·         Responsible for maintaining GMP compliance including proper use of assembly documentation, assembler training and document maintenance

·         Prepare and administer performance appraisals for assemblers and provide recommendations on development issues

·         Coordinate with Supplier Management, Materials Management and Inspection to ensure adequate components and materials are available to attain production goals

·         Administration of batch history records and maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements

·         Develop and continuously improve employee training systems to maintain core competencies and manufacturing capabilities

·         Other assignments as required

 

Position Requirements:

 

·         Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field

·         Two or more years relevant production assembly supervision experience required preferably in a “clean room” environment

·         Excellent interpersonal skills

·         Use of and interface with MRP/ERP systems

·         Prefer Agile and QAD experience

·         Excellent written and verbal communication ability

·         Prefer understanding of FDA, GDP and GMP requirements

·         Familiarity with “single-piece flow, 5S, Poka-Yoke and Kaizen”, yield and process optimization methods a plus

·         Experience interfacing with quality management, manufacturing engineers and design engineers

·         Lifting requirements
