Professional Education Program Coordinator

Create and coordinate invitations, registrations, catering, signage, sign-in sheets, printing, name badges, handouts, etc. Coordinate supplies for hands-on training labs. Work with travel agency to coordinate participants travel arrangements. Maintain individual event files. Monitor the individual course budgets and track expenses. Interact effectively with physicians and ANS personnel at sponsored educational meeting and solve problems as they arise. Prepare monthly or program specific summaries as needed. Other duties as assigned. Ensure full compliance with regulatory, clinical, and legal SOP's for medical education Adopts internal routing and good clinical/business practices in their workflow and customer interactionExperience & Training:  · Associates degree or 2-3 years experience in medical education event planning.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.· Ability to work under pressure with multiple and competing deadlines.· Assignment completion without close supervision.· Strong problem solving skills.· Strong coordination & organizational skills.· Basic spinal/orthopedic anatomy knowledge a plus.· Proficiency in operating various desktop applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the Internet.· Willingness and ability to travel (up to and potentially more than 33%) and work weekends; twice a month, or weekly as required.  Initially travel can be as much as 60% until program develops· Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities· Excellent communication/customer service skills are necessary components of the ideal candidate.· Must be able to gather data, analyze, and make good recommendations/decisions independently in supervisor’s absence.   Qualified candidates may apply online via our website at http://www.sjm.com/ and reference position # ANS1169.  No agencies or phone calls, please.  St. Jude Medical is an equal opportunity employer.
