Program Manager, Business Transformation Work Location: Not ApplicableShifts: Not ApplicablePositions Available: 3Position Summary Under the general direction of the Director, Integration Project Management, develops, refines, validates and manages Business Transformation project plans to ensure on time and on budget delivery of major cross-functional initiatives and activities within the department. Responsible for supporting needs of the Process and Technical Leads through the development of project management methods, standards, project integration, as well as the coordination of all internal and external resources. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Develops cross-functional project plans and manages execution of tasks and completion of all deliverables within the business process and technical areas. Ensures project commitments are met – on time and within budget. Provides timely and concise communications to functional and executive leadership regarding project status and pending issues. Builds consensus among multiple Process and Technical Leads relative to project scope, task execution, staffing and issue resolution. Participates in identifying project costs, resource allocation, project schedule changes and issue escalation. Identifies issues and potential risks within the project; proactively manages them to resolution and/or mitigation with the assistance of the Process and Technical Leads. Recommends corrective actions to program leadership when project deliverables deviate from the work plan with the assistance of team members. Works closely with the Process and Technical Leads in the development and definition of project charters, and monitors alignment during project execution. Supports overall financial direction for the projects to manage the development of budgets, controls and measurements to monitor project progress. Monitors and ensures the development, tracking and execution of project deliverables. Ensures and coordinates document management of project deliverables and work papers. Responsible for continuous improvement of processes and methodologies used in fulfilling responsibilities; contributes to refinement of program management methodology. Provides support as required to the program management staff; leads project teams by developing work plans within guidelines and monitoring progress on project milestones. Interacts with project sponsors, stakeholders, vendors and various project members to ensure that specified business needs are met; assists in the post-implementation analysis to ensure that requirements are fulfilled. Manages specific and dedicated area of workspace. Performs related duties as assigned. Experience and Education Requirements Requires some training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education; PMI certification or equivalent project management methodology training and hours preferred. Normally requires a minimum of ten (10) years directly related and progressively responsible experience, including at least two (2) years experience at a senior manager or equivalent level related to managing large, complex projects; normally requires a professional license or certificate in specialized field.
