Position Summary

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who strives to succeed in a team environment. This individual must not only be capable of working independently and within deadlines, but also on multiple team-based projects. Qualified applicants will be responsible for the successful implementation of high-volume dinner programs, and as a result, should be experienced in the implementation of speaker-based pharmaceutical meetings.


High Level Job Responsibilities and Tasks
The qualified applicant will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of pharmaceutical-based meetings, including:
Manage meeting logistics, venue management, and faculty travel arrangements.
Coordinate meeting recruitment and registration.
Assist in the development of meeting materials, as necessary.
Daily interaction with various client staff and faculty.
Respond to routine inquiries from physicians, client staff.
Successfully track, reconcile and report event-level expenses.
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualification RequirementsSuccessful pharmaceutical meeting planning experience a plusBachelor’s Degree preferred though not requiredSuperior customer service skillsExcellent oral and written skills, time-management skills and the ability to work with a variety of people (physicians, client contacts, and TAG management)Familiarity with budgeting and strict adherence to expense reconciliation throughout meeting implementation processAbility to take the initiative and set priorities as it relates to meeting managementMust learn quickly and take ownership of assigned project and initiativesProfessional telephone etiquetteMicrosoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficienciesInternet-capable
Must be available for occasional overnight travel
