Project Manager/ Program Manager - Managed Care

Paragon is seeking a Senior Project Manager or Program Manager with Managed Care experience.  This individual must have experience handling 5-10 projects at any certain time. 

 

Managed Care Experience:

Customer Contract Side

Customer Contract Areas

Experience with Chargebacks a huge plus

 

**  Significant experience working in the Project Manager for a fortune 1000 company.

**  Experience in using formal methodologies (i.e. SDLC).

**  Experience in project resource (staffing) forecasting and management.

**  Experience in project budget forecasting and management.

**  Comfortable and experienced in working closely with teams including: Business Analyst, Architect, Technical Team, Subject Matter Experts and Business Customers. 

**  As required, can act as consultant to the team and mentor to team members throughout the project lifetime.

**  Experience in leveraging the **formal** and **informal** processes in order to **get the job done**.

**  High-energy and focus on delivery.

**  Champion of change.

**  Ability to know when to flag high risk items and determine necessary measures by which they can be mitigated.

**  Comfortable and can leverage various (customer directed) methodologies, including SDLC, Six Sigma (VOC), etc

**  Demonstrably effective leadership capabilities and ability to delegate appropriately.

**  High level of skill at managing a client relationship while coordinating all project activities.

**  Deliverables typically include:

o  Planning and Initiation

**  Project Plan

**  Risk Plan

**  Contact List

**  Status Reports

**  Project Dashboard

**  Project Metrics

**  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

**  As required: Comfortable working in a validated environment and in delivering validated documents and via the client**s validation processes.

**  Experience in leading a project team of 8 or more including coaching and career development, budgeting and estimating.

 

**  Other Value Add Experience

o  Proposal writing and stewardship.

o  Project Management Institute Certification (PMP)

o  Change Management/Version Control

o  Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), ISO

o  Industry specific knowledge within the specific Business Domain

o  Experience in leading a project team of 8 or more including coaching and career development, budgeting and estimating.
