Job Description

RTI-Health Solutions, a Research Unit within RTI International has an immediate opening for a Project Support Specialist 3 to serve as project coordinator and research assistant in the Outcomes Research and Regulatory Strategy department located in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Responsibilities
 
• Position will include a broad range of project administrative and research activities. 
• Administrative functions may include completing project initiation requirements; planning meetings; and tracking project progress, deliverables, timelines, and budgets. 
• Research activities may include preparing agendas and summaries for conference calls, meetings, and symposia; conducting literature searches and abstractions; assisting with proposal development; managing and coding qualitative or quantitative data; drafting sections of reports and other deliverables; and supporting interviews and other data collection activities.
• Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in health policy, sociology, psychology, public policy, or related field with three years related experience or a Master’s degree in public health or related field with one years related experience. 
• Interest/experience in health outcomes, health policy, health services, or pharmaceutical research. 
• Proven excellent oral and written communication skills; writing samples may be requested.
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail required.
• Must be able to work well under varied models of supervision, from close and direct to independently. 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) required.
