65,000.00 - 80,000.00 USD /year Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Logistics/Transportation Relevant Work Experience: 2+ to 5 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Company: Synerfac Technical Staffing Contact: Jon Egbert Email: Apply by Email Website: www.synerfac.com Purchasing / Contracts Analyst Contract Analyst JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client, a privately-held specialty pharmaceutical company with commercial franchises in psychiatry, women's health and orphan drugs, is currently seeking a contract analyst to support continuing US operations. The purpose of this position is to manage key performance indicators with regards to quality, cost and service; ensure compliance with corporate policies; and, work with cross functionalteams to optimize and leverage spend and supply management with the ultimate goal of reducing costs. Specifically, this person will assist to design, develop and implement complex spend and bid analysis. Job duties include, but are not limited to: -Execute the tactical procurement activities related to the sourcing of commodities and services -Support contract negotiations with suppliers -Ensure procurement initiatives are implemented to the extent applicable with Master Service Agreements -Compliance reporting -Validate monthly and quarterly government calculations, i.e. AMP, BP, N-Famp, IFF and Federal Supply Schedule Process Quarterly Medicaid and Medicare Part D Government Rebates. JOB REQUIREMENTS: -Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of progressive procurement and/or financial/bid analysis experiencein the pharmaceutical, health care or chemical industry -Strong analytical reasoning capabilities and proven track record managing multiple tasks -Familiarity with sourcing process  -Proven prior experience (Contract development and negotiation experience required) -Strong business acumen and familiar with financial and legal terms including international economies and exchange rates in relation to developing sources of supply internationally -Strong interpersonal skills, a self starter who can effectively communicate both in writing and orally -Demonstrated ability to be able to work both tactically and strategically -Core competencies in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project) Location: CC Philadelphia
