QA Specialist - Marietta, PA - 6-Month Contract Opportunity

Yoh Scientific has a contract opening for a QA Specialist in the Marietta, PA area. Our customer is a global pharmaceutical firm engaged in the discovery, development, manufacturing and marketing of products worldwide. 

Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain the eSOP2 daily operational tasks, including but not limited to, coordinating the implementation of standard operating procedures, site policies, and appendices at the Marietta site, finalize and prepare all documents prior to approval via compliance check.
• Coordination and maintenance of Quality Management System (QMS) progress including, Gap analysis uploads, tracking/tracing, interfacing with site SME’s for QMS Gap check sheet completion, disseminating and evaluating recommended assessment levels for identified gaps, and developing/reporting of QMS and Procedures Management metrics for site evaluation.
• Coordinate the distribution of Global Standard Operating Procedures (GSOPs), as well as the review of GSOPs by site designee’s in order to effectively communicate the views and requirements of Marietta operations.

Basic Requirements:
• Prior experience writing and/or revising multiple SOP’s.
• Prior experience in a GMP environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and preferably SAP.
• The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all levels within the organization.
• Able to interact in multidisciplinary environment including engineering, facility operations, validation, production and QCQA. 
• Ability to work in a high complex matrix environment.
• Capable of working without direct supervision.

Preferred Requirements:
• Vaccine Manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of Quality systems in a cGMP environment.
• Prior experience with SOP authoring, reviewing, approving.
• Prior experience in a Quality Assurance role
• Other pharmaceutical experience.
• User experience with SAP.
