Job Description QC Lab Technologist We are seeking someone to join our team as a Quality Control Technologist to be responsible for the performance and documentation of Quality Control test procedures.  In this team-based environment, the Quality Control Supervisor and/or Quality Control Manager will assign you specific responsibilities.   Position Highlights:   -  Perform quality control test procedures according to required product requirements:a. Requires use of personal computerb. Requires conformance to cGLP/cGMP documentation requirementsc.  Requires accurate assessment of test results and comparison of results to product specificationsd. Requires testing by standard methods and completion of required testing that conform to product deadlines-  Provide guidance in test procedures to quality control technicians.-  Conduct stability studies as requested to monitor product efficacy through expiration. Skills, Education and Experience Qualifications:  -  BA/BS in Medical Technology, Microbiology, Biology or Chemistry or related four-year degree program.  Placement will be based on assessment of education and previous work experience in a clinical or industrial setting.-  Experience in MS Office Suite applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.-  Experience in performing serial dilutions, reading and interpreting Gram and other stains, organism identification via biochemical reaction interpretation and observation of gross and microscopic characteristics is preferred.-  Experience in using standard microbiology laboratory equipment (bright field microscope, stains and reagents, spectrophotometer, biological safety cabinet, laminar flow hood, pipette, analytical balance, etc.) is preferred.-  Must be able to communicate fluently in English.Education: BachelorsJob Level: Experienced
