QC TECHNICIAN- Temp to Perm

Kelly Scientific has an immediate need for a QC Tech.Execute wet lab tests to ensure that cosmetics and drug products meet the criteria of identity, quality, purity, strength and the physical characteristics they are purported to possess. Evaluate the quality of data generated and adherence to procedures and practices.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:Include the following: other duties may be assigned:oRun wet chemical assays per written instructions.oCoordinate stability testing.oReview data for thoroughness and accuracy.oSupport data trending activities.oReport any deviations from procedures and normal practices to manager.oSupport microbiology department activitiesoMaintain high level of training by attending all in-house required eGMP and method-specific training sessions.oAttend any recommended training requested by the manager.oPerform other duties as requested by the QC/QS Manager.QUALIFICATIONSoA minimum of 1 year of bench-level chemistry is required.oPrior experience with instrumentation (e.g. viscosity, pH, analytical balances) and wet chemistry (e.g. titration, LOD, pH, etc) is required.oPrior experience in microbiology lab will be a plus.oBachelors of Science Degree required.
