The position's primary focus is to support the continuous improvement efforts across Baxter Pharmaceutical and Technology (BPT) through the tracking and trending of key quality systems and in support of management initiatives. Support the activities of the BPT Quality process improvement function to enhance the overall quality systems resulting in increase efficiency, improve effectiveness, resolved operational issues and cost savings. Partner with corporate quality functions to assure the seamless management of issues. Conduct trend analysis across quality systems (Customer Complaints, CAPA etc) on a routine basis to identify opportunities for improvements and reduce risk. - Evaluate problems; propose solutions and lead initiatives as required- Coordinate/conduct BPT-wide investigations- Monitor and report on improvement projects status Lead/support improvement projects.- Assure project goal clarity and focus- Develop project plans- Secure project support and membership- Motivate team to meet milestones and project due date- Identify and communicate barriers/obstacles to project sponsors- Present project outcome to sponsors and propose project closure Support the BPT scorecard/dashboard program to assure accurate and timely communication of key quality indicators to BPT, Med Del. and Corporate Quality stakeholders.- Collect and manage Quality data from multiple facilities- Track and trend Quality system data - Create Quality system power point presentations for Senior Staff review QUALIFICATIONS: Strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills. Ability to lead/support multiple projects concurrently and drive to completion. Excellent presentation skills and confident in public speaking. Ability to compose power point presentation. Familiar with operating procedures, quality and regulatory requirements pertinent to pharmaceutical, biological, and medical devices. Must be able to apply sound scientific principles and compliance standards to quality projects. Must have excellent interpersonal skills; and be able to effectively communicate and influence project members. Demonstrated effectiveness in ability to motivate team members, resulting in a high-performing team with focus on results and task completion. Effective in holding project members accountable for assigned tasks. Knowledge in business excellence tools and processes. Be able to write effective technical documents.
