Quality Assurance Associate

HVL/Douglas Laboratories, a growing organization and a worldwide leader in the nutritional supplement industry, is currently seeking an experienced, dynamic and highly motivated individual to work as a Quality Assurance Associate at our Greentree facility.

 

General Function: 

To promote and ensure compliance with NSF and FDA cGMP’s as they relate to production and packaging of product. Assist in the strict adherence with all HVL SOP’s and standards. Ensure that products produced and sold by HVL are of the highest standard with the capability to oversee in-process quality control in compliance with all regulatory agency standards.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assist the quality control department with customer complaints and concerns.Oversee the adherence of all applicable regulations and procedures in the manufacturing process (SOP, GMP, FDA, etc.).Assist with the implementation (training and reporting) of all FDA cGMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOP’sPrepare and produce accurate reports regarding standard quality control practices.Ensure proper documentation, systems upkeep and paperwork flow.Additional duties as required or assigned



 

Required Abilities:Computer literate (Microsoft Office/AS 400)Good understanding of a regulatory environmentExcellent attention to detailExceptional organizational and communication skillsAbility to multi-taskSelf motivated and reliableExcellent oral and written communication skills



 

Working Conditions: 

Work is carried out in a production floor where there is considerable exposure to raw materials, chemicals, and dust.



 

Education/Skill Level:

Associates Degree in a science related field with a minimum of two to three years of professional experience in a regulatory environment.
