Job Description Quality Assurance Manager Position Summary: The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for coordinating activities between distribution centers and company initiatives and objectives.  The position will also be responsible for quality management system and monitors and advises on how the system is performing.  The ideal candidate will possess a broad based understanding of Quality Assurance activities specifically with relation to ISO 9000 and cGMP programs.   Expectations:§ Managing the pre-engagement audit to identify areas of improvement§ Managing open issues resolution and post certification internal compliance audit§ Coordinating the internal actions required and ensuring follow up on all open audit items§ Developing a statistical based internal quality program with metrics that effectively measure the quality of the Thermo Fisher Scientific distribution facilities internal process.  § Developing an internal program for distribution centers that covers the common elements of cGMP and ISO 9000 requirements.§ Ensuring that Thermo Fisher Scientific meets the specific customer requirements for cGMP and ISO 9000 compliance.§ Administering/Managing the Quality Systems section of www.fishersci.com website Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: § ISO/cGMP Auditor Certification or demonstrated experience§ MBA, ASQC, CQE and/or CRE Certification§ Six Sigma Green Belt certified§ Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products§ Intermediate knowledge in data analysis & quality assurance database systems§ Ability to implement process improvement methodologies Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria: § Bachelor degree in Statistics or technical discipline§ Minimum 5 years experience with Quality Assurance function in Distribution Operations Education: BachelorsJob Level: Experienced
