(MRINetwork) is the world's largest executive search and recruitment organization with a global network of more than 1,100 offices and 4,500 recruiting professionals.  Founded in 1966 and consisting of five offices across New England, The Boston Group is MRI’s oldest, largest, and most highly acclaimed member. Company Information:The Client’s mission is to bring the medical marvel of regenerative medicine to patients and to standardize its use in everyday medical care.  With over 200,000 patients treated with their flagship product, they feel that their goal of introducing regenerative medicine to the world has been achieved.  They feel that millions of patients still need  to receive the benefits of advanced medicine modalities.  The Client is continuing to expand their staff to position themselves for additional growth.  In addition to this expansion, they have identified the need to add a new  QUALITY CONTROL DIRECTOR to oversee all of the quality activities in support of product development and releases. Job Description: The QUALITY CONTROL DIRECTOR will:  Ensure that all routine testing and cell bank testing is performed to meet business needs and is in accordance with quality requirements Manage and develop the Quality Control staff  Prepare and maintain the budget, using appropriate resourcing Ensure that projects are appropriately supported by Quality Control, and develop creative strategies and resourcing with regard to meeting project timelines Benchmark data to identify opportunity for continuous quality improvement and guide strategy to implement appropriate changes Set strategy for implementation of novel technology practices in Quality Control testing Set strategy to meet corporate and departmental objectives and track performance against these objectives Champion policies and processes that incorporate and practices in the field of Quality Establish value added metrics and assure reporting and compliance Apply and interpret current laws and industry trends and ensure implementation with the organization Interpret current laws and industry trends against organization capabilities and efficiencies.  Ensure that corporate systems and processes support the mission and shapes organizational strategy and direction accordingly Shape the organization through the identification of systems structures for documentation and assures that changing regulatory requirements are implemented and the impact on documentation is addressed Perform as Project Leader to further corporate objectives Job Requirements:The QUALITY CONTROL DIRECTOR will have:  BS in Life Science 12+ years experience in a GMP/GLP regulated environment Demonstrated managerial experience in Quality Control Cell culture experience Ability to solve complex problems to attain crucial project goals Proficiency in the use of various statistical tools Expertise in dealing with regulatory on quality and regulatory issues Strong organizational, interpersonal and written and oral communication skills Demonstrated and leadership and project management skillsKey words are:  BS, Life Science, GMP/GLP,  Quality Control, cell culture Qualified candidates please submit your resume and salary information as an MS Word attachment to  jkroehler@mri-boston.com  .  Due to the large volume of resumes received, only candidates meeting requirements will be contacted.
