Quality Control Project Manager

Temporary/Contract Position

Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related life/physical science discipline, plus at least 2 years (MS entry) of related experience in an analytical laboratory, validation, technical services and or quality compliance.


Essential Duties: Project Management, scheduling and problem solving skills a must.  Resume must indicate proficiency in these areas.

This position entails coordinating all responses for audit activity as it pertains to Quality Control. Schedule all testing events for the QC Analytical laboratory including finished product, raw material, stability, test requisitions, re-test, and in-process samples.

Ability to operate laboratory equipment, specifically pH meter, HPLC, GC, Karl Fisher, UV Spec,IR, and/or Atomic Absorption Spec.


Work with internal and external customers to complete requests for information to and/from Quality Control. Basic theoretical knowledge and the ability to apply the fundamentals to specific methodology. Ability to understand the FDA/EMEA/MHRA or other regulatory entity regulations and guidance documents and to make the appropriate basic interpretations for the testing of raw materials, active product ingredients (APIs) and finished products.
