R&D Associate- Molecular Genetics

Ambry Genetics Corp. is seeking to hire a full time junior laboratory associate for its molecular genetics R&D laboratory.

The associate will be involved in the development of new assays with our research team. General molecular biology knowledge and good laboratory skills are required in the areas of PCR, DNA sequencing, electrophoresis, cloning. The position is geared at a candidate who can efficiently work in a goal-oriented research and development setting, and wants to get involved in the field of clinical diagnostics.

Other requirements include:
BS or MS in molecular biology, genetics, or related scientific field. Excellent molecular biology skills, verbal and written communication skills. Strong general computer and bioinformatics skills incl. primer design and sequencing software. Excellent organizational skills. Ability and desire to work in fast paced environment.
