Job Description:

 Lacamas Laboratories is searching for highly motivated organic chemists from the BS to the Ph.D. level to help develop and scale up processes from the lab to industrial scale.  Qualified applicants should have completed a BS, MS, or Ph.D degree in organic chemistry or a related field.  Experience in a similar area is a plus but not a requirement.  Familiarity with common analytical techniques (HPLC, NMR, GC, etc.) is a must.  Experience with cGMP (current good manufacturing practices) is a bonus. 

Tasks include:
1.  Develop synthesis routes based on literature preps or tech transfers.
2.  Scale reactions to 5 L flasks in the laboratory
3.  Write production records
4.  Develop analytical techniques
5.  Support production engineers and staff in scale-up.
6.  Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency
