R&D RESEARCH INVESTIGATOR/TECHNICAL WRITER

We have an outstanding career opportunity for a successful R&D Research Investigator/Technical Writer located in our Pomona, New York offices.

Responsibilities include: Support Research and Development by preparing research protocols, experimental designs and plans in coordination with scientists and team leaders to ensure that ANDA submissions are on schedule Review and interpret formulation research data from project notebooks Evaluate details and sequence of the formulation and process development from scientific information/records and data in research project notebook Clarify and resolve issues through discussion with formulation scientists and other technical experts representing analytical research, regulatory and process validation Determine relationship between experiments and results Analyze statistical data Conduct preformulation tests, if required, to verify information Describe the stages of formulation and process development Write draft report and review with formulation scientists Write final Product Development report for submission to FDA investigator prior to product approvalPosition Requirements include: MS in Industrial Pharmacy Familiarity with preformulation experimental equipment such as x-ray diffractometry (XRD), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), surface area analysis, rheometry, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), microscopy and isothermal microcalorimetry (IMC) Familiarity with formulation development processes such as milling, compounding, compression, coating and capsule filling, and with related equipment Excellent report writing and editing skills; technical writing experience preferred Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written Commitment to Excellence - Many companies talk about it.
