RESEARCH ASSOCIATE II (Chemist) – PRODUCT CHARACTERIZATION

The purpose of the position is to develop and validate analytical methods, and carry out product testing. Successful candidate will be a proven self starter with strong analytical skills and experience with a wide range of analytical techniques and methodologies, especially HPLC, GC, and electrophoresis.

Responsibilities to include: develop and validate analytical methods; write, revise, and review documents such as SOPs and Standard Test Methods. Requirements include: MS degree with 1-3 years of hands on lab experience in pharmaceutical industry or academic institution or BS with 2-5 years same; Must be familiar with cGMP and GLP requirements, possess strong interpersonal/problem solving skills with a high degree of self-motivation and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of protein characterization is essential.
