Responsibilities include research and development in collaboration with the supervisor and the other team members, assistance in pharmacology and toxicology studies, drug discovery, and in vitro screening of drug candidates. Other responsibilities include assay execution for new and on-going projects, assistance in the development of screening and bioanalytical assays, and development and validation of new technologies; execution of experiments, data interpretation, and technical report preparation; and assisting in the preparation and execution of study protocol for non-clinical investigations that contribute to achievement of departmental research goals.

 

Requirements include a BS with at least 6 years laboratory experience or MS with 3 years experience. Must have experience performing immunoassays, in vitro drug metabolism, and HPLC, and experience in performing biological experiments involving tissue culture, immunology, biochemistry and liquid chromatography. Strong background in HPLC, immunology bioanalytical analysis and biological science is essential; experience in molecular biology particularly hybridization and PCR methods and immunohistology a plus.
