Responsibilities: • Responsible for the coordination of resources (staff, equipment, etc) bed coordination and patient flow required to provide effective and efficient patient care. • Responsible for facilitating placement of all patient transfers into the facility whether direct admits from other hospitals or ED admits. • Provides leadership for all areas of responsibility. • Plan, organize and direct departments to fulfill their defined scope of service through effective communication with physicians, nursing staff, case managers, other facility staff; works to enhance the patient flow process. • Collaborates with the Risk Manager, Patient Safety Officer, and Health Information Management to implement performance improvements focused on patient safety and provision of quality patient care. Requirements: • RN, BSN Required • Five years of clinical experience required.  • Five years of Case Management and Utilization Review Process • Five years of progressive Management Experience • Knowledge of regulatory agencies; state and federal laws, regulations, codes and standards governing quality of care in acute care facilities. • Knowledge of the techniques of problem solving and ability to make sound judgments. • Ability to provide leadership and support the staff in carrying out their functions. • Ability to analyze, evaluate and resolve issues and concerns regarding quality of care. • Ability to coordinate the department’s activities with other Medical Center departments. • Ability to function under pressure and to meet schedules and time-lines. • Ability to prioritize, be flexible and implement change.Discover all that’s possible with Yoh Health Care.
