Position Description:

Raw Materials Pharmacy ManagerKV Pharmaceutical seeks a Raw Materials Pharmacy Manager. The successful candidate will manage and coordinate activities of pharmacy employees to meet daily production requirements including scheduling and monitoring production to ensure high quality and efficient output. If you have experience in preparing shift reports of labor, production status, outputs and raw material supply issues this may be the position for you. We are seeking individuals with experience in monitoring activities of the pharmacy area, ensuring accurate documentation for all batch records including all required checks, ensuring proper approval of all equipment at time of changeover, and conducting periodic housekeeping and safety audits of pharmacy areas. The incumbent will interpret and enforce all GMP/SOP housekeeping policies and monitors department employees’ abilities to achieve required levels of good housekeeping and cleanliness and work with operators and supervisors to identify, analyze and resolve production, equipment. If you have experience in instituting and designing training programs to meet production skill deficiencies, monitoring new employees to assure optimal level of employee orientation, and can advise employees of short and long range training requirements, apply today. This position will help to identify and institute continuous improvement ideas within the Pharmacy, mentor and coach production supervisors and production coordinators. QUALIFICATIONSThe ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in business, production management, math or related area, a minimum of three years of production experience in a manufacturing environment where the product mix changes frequently, experience in scheduling and supervising employees, and knowledge of Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing. We are seeking individuals who are proficient in mathematical functions to perform analysis and to understand product formulations, have a working knowledge of GMP as applied to pharmaceuticals, knowledge of manufacturing/packaging process from the beginning to end, and a demonstrated knowledge of and concern for cost savings/resource utilization. The successful candidate must be Microsoft Office proficient, organized, and detail-oriented.
