Research Associate - Analytical Development

We are currently seeking an Analytical Chemist for our Analytical Development group, who will be directly involved in the development of analytical methods to support various pharmaceutical development activities, API release, formulation development, stability and impurity characterization.

 

Background

B.S./M.S. in chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry or related field with 2-5 years of relevant industry experience in Analytical Development.

 

Desired experience/expertise

· Solid technical background in separation sciences, including HPLC and SEC with various detectors, UV-Vis and vibrational spectroscopy, thermal analysis, microscopy and others.

· Strong expertise in methods development/qualification/validation.

· Demonstrated organizational skills.

 

Responsibilities

The Analytical Chemist’s main responsibilities will include:

· Taking an active role in developing and implementing BIND's analytical capabilities for nanoparticle characterization to support company development efforts.

· Providing accurate timely results for samples submitted for analysis.

· Effectively working in a cross-functional environment with Pharmaceutical Science, Biology and Process Development groups.

· Organizing, evaluating, and presenting data in an effective and scientific manner.

· Writing test procedures, operating procedures and formal reports.
